Stabbing Spree Leads to Charges for Kensington Woman
Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 46-year-old woman after two stabbing incidents in Moonee Ponds and Kensington. The first occurred on Puckle Street, where a 74-year-old man was stabbed and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Later, the same woman allegedly stabbed a 25-year-old cyclist on Racecourse Road, who sustained minor injuries. The woman was arrested at a Kensington property and has been charged with serious offenses, including intentionally causing serious injury and stalking. She has been remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
