Investigators Recover Stolen Cars After Major Car Yard Theft
Vehicle Crime Squad detectives are investigating the theft of more than $2 million worth of new vehicles from a Port Melbourne car yard. Four offenders—two men and two women—broke into a Salmon Street business between Sunday afternoon, October 20, and early Monday morning, October 21.
The group stole up to 45 unregistered vehicles, including multiple Honda, Skoda, Volkswagen, and Mercedes models. So far, 17 of the vehicles have been recovered, but detectives are still searching for the remaining cars.

A 32-year-old woman from Prahan has been arrested in connection with the theft after being found in one of the stolen vehicles. She was charged with various offenses, including reckless driving and theft of a motor vehicle, and is set to appear in court.
Authorities are continuing their investigation, urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to recover the remaining vehicles.
