Two Charged After Chemist Break-In at Paradise Point

Police Arrest Two Following Chemist Break-In

A man and a woman have been charged following a break and enter at a chemist in Paradise Point in the early hours of October 17. Allegedly, the pair used a stolen black Range Rover to smash into the Grice Avenue business around 1:30am. Police quickly responded to the scene, arresting a 25-year-old woman from Coolangatta.

The Range Rover, which had been stolen from Helensvale hours earlier, was found at the scene. The woman was charged with drug possession and offenses related to controlled substances and will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on November 11.

A 20-year-old man from Southport, involved in the crime, was charged with unlawful use of a vehicle and break and enter offenses. He has been denied bail and will face the Southport Magistrates Court on October 18.
