Uninvited Teens Cause Chaos at Northern Sydney Party
A house party in Northern Sydney took a tense turn when a teenager was held at gunpoint by police over a toy pistol. The incident occurred on Boree Street in Forestville around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday when the party host called the police after uninvited teens crashed the event.
Upon arrival, police found about 150 teenagers gathered in the street. The situation quickly escalated as the crowd became unruly, with some individuals allegedly throwing glass bottles at the officers.
During the commotion, police were alerted to a suspected firearm in the waistband of a 17-year-old. The teen complied with the officers’ commands, and the item was found to be a toy pistol.
A video shared by the Manly Observer shows the teen surrounded by armed officers with his hands behind his head, while onlookers tried to explain that the gun was fake.
The crowd dispersed after about an hour, and no officers were injured. Police are continuing their inquiries into the incident.
