Police Investigate Replica Firearm Incident in Sydney CBD

Man Reported Firing Replica Firearm in Sydney CBD

Sydney police are investigating after reports that a man discharged a suspected replica firearm, possibly a gel blaster, in the city’s CBD. Around 1 p.m. on November 14, officers from Sydney City Police Area Command responded to calls about a man firing the replica into the ground on Hospital Road. 

The man left in a vehicle before police arrived, and no injuries were reported. Police have set up a crime scene as investigations continue. Anyone with information in relation to the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
