Homicide Investigation Underway After Man Dies in Alleged Assault
A man in his 30s has died following an alleged assault in Tweed Heads South early Sunday morning, 24 November 2024. Emergency services were called to William Street around 3:15 am, where the man was found unconscious outside a home. Despite treatment from paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has yet to be formally identified. A crime scene has been established, and the Homicide Squad is assisting local police in the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
