Domestic Incident Leads to Charges in Wingfield
An 88-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a domestic disturbance in Wingfield. Police were called to a Fourth Street home around 12:30pm on Saturday, 28 September, where they found an 85-year-old woman who had been seriously assaulted.
The woman was taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition. The incident is not considered random, as the individuals involved know each other. The man was arrested at the scene and is receiving medical treatment. A court date has yet to be set.
