Over 40 Parking Meters Damaged in Alleged Vandalism Incident
A 37-year-old man has been charged after allegedly damaging approximately 40 parking meters in Brunswick Heads. The incident occurred between the evening of October 19 and the morning of October 20, 2024.
Following police investigations by the Tweed/Byron Police District, the suspect was arrested on South Beach Road and later taken to Byron Bay Police Station. The man was charged with property damage valued at over $15,000. He was refused bail and is set to appear in Byron Bay Local Court today.
