Man Charged for Alleged Nazi Salute at Sydney Football Game

Incident Under Investigation by Surry Hills Police

A 36-year-old man has been charged after allegedly performing a Nazi salute during a football game in Moore Park, Sydney, in April 2024. The incident, which targeted a group of people, prompted an investigation by detectives from the Surry Hills Police Area Command.

 After extensive inquiries, the man was arrested on 14 October 2024 and charged for making the offensive gesture in a public place. He has been granted strict conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on 28 November 2024.
