Pharmacy Targeted in Evening Heist
A 20-year-old man has been charged with armed robbery and weapon-related offenses following an alleged armed robbery in Balaclava. The man, armed with a knife, entered a pharmacy on Carlisle Street around 6 pm, demanding various items.
After fleeing with stolen medications, he was quickly spotted by Victoria Police Protective Services Officers and arrested nearby. Police recovered a bag of medications, and the suspect was remanded in custody to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
