Man Arrested After Armed Robbery and Multiple Theft Charges in Auburn

Police Apprehend Suspect Following Supermarket Robbery and Break-Ins

Around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, police were alerted to an armed robbery at a supermarket on the corner of Harrow Road and Queen Street in Auburn. A 33-year-old man allegedly threatened a store employee with a knife before stealing items. 

Following an investigation, officers located the man at a home in South Granville, where he was arrested. The suspect faces multiple charges, including armed robbery, aggravated break and enter, shoplifting, and larceny. After the arrest, he was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in Parramatta Local Court on October 31, 2024.
