Police Examine Circumstances Surrounding Child’s Tragic Death
Authorities are investigating the death of a toddler found in a car in Innisfail, Far North Queensland, on Monday afternoon. Queensland Ambulance Service responded to a welfare call at around 1 PM on Rankin Street.
The child, in life-threatening condition, was transported to Innisfail Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. Local temperatures peaked at just over 30°C at 12:30 PM, raising concerns about the impact of heat exposure. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
