Police Raid in Coomera Targets Drug Distribution and Manufacturing
Gold Coast Police seized a large quantity of dangerous drugs and drug manufacturing materials in a Coomera raid on October 25. The investigation began after community tips suggested that a property on Beattie Road was involved in drug activities. During the search, officers found various substances, including cannabis, methylamphetamine, THC oil, and over a kilogram of MDMA tablets. They also discovered instructions for drug production.
A 32-year-old woman from Eagleby was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including possession and production of dangerous drugs, possession of drug production equipment, and unlawful possession of a weapon. She is scheduled to reappear in Southport Magistrates Court on November 7.
Chief Superintendent Craig Hanlon praised the police team’s efforts and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to keeping dangerous drugs off the streets, highlighting this operation as a step towards community safety. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
