Police Seek Answers in Tragic Molesworth Car Crash
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are probing a fatal crash that occurred on the Goulburn Valley Highway near Molesworth on Thursday afternoon. Emergency services responded to the scene around 2 pm, where a Nissan Navara utility collided with an Isuzu utility.
The Isuzu veered off the road and struck a tree, leading to life-threatening injuries for its driver, who later died in the hospital. The Nissan driver, a 25-year-old man from Wonga Park, sustained minor injuries and is under police guard. Investigations into the exact cause of the collision are ongoing.
