Elon Musk Used in AI-Generated Scam to Promote Fake Game App

Scammers Exploit Elon Musk’s Image to Deceive Australians

Scammers are at it again, this time leveraging an AI-generated video of Elon Musk to promote a fraudulent game app targeting Australians. The app, called Blinko Cross, falsely promises users a $3,000 bonus simply for downloading and signing up.

The scam outlines three simple steps: download the app, sign up with your personal details, and claim the welcome bonus by playing the game. While these steps appear straightforward, the real purpose is to steal users’ sensitive information and money. Scammers ask intrusive personal questions and manipulate users into sharing private details under the guise of the game.

This tactic is not new but uses the credibility of Elon Musk’s image to gain trust. The reality is that the app provides no winnings and is designed to exploit unsuspecting victims. Stay cautious and avoid falling for these schemes.
