Police Uncover Drugs and Weapons in Brighton East Property Search
Police have charged two individuals after uncovering a stash of drugs and weapons during a raid in Brighton East. On November 21, Caulfield Divisional Response Unit officers executed a search warrant at a Centre Road property. Upon entry, a man and a woman were allegedly caught attempting to dispose of drugs.
The raid led to the seizure of over 1kg of GHB, along with quantities of methylamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and cannabis. Police also confiscated weapons, including knives and an extendable baton, and over $2000 in cash.
A 40-year-old Brighton East man faces multiple charges, including trafficking drugs and possessing prohibited weapons. He was bailed to appear in court in February 2025. A 28-year-old St Kilda woman was charged with drug possession and failing to answer bail and was remanded to appear in court on November 21.
