Police Arrest Man in Connection with Woman’s Death
Northern Territory Police have arrested a 36-year-old man following the death of a 22-year-old woman in Katherine. Police responded to reports of a distressed man on O’Shea Terrace around 9:10 PM and discovered the woman nearby.
Despite attempts at CPR, she was pronounced dead by St John Ambulance. The arrested man, confirmed as the victim’s partner, is currently in custody. A crime scene has been established as detectives continue their investigation.
