Extreme Heat Conditions Expected Across Multiple Regions
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) forecasts high temperatures across parts of New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia from Friday through Sunday.
The heatwave will mainly impact northern areas, with extreme conditions expected in the Top End of the Northern Territory, western, central, and southeastern Queensland, and isolated pockets in Western Australia’s Kimberley region.
BOM urges residents in these areas to take precautions against the extreme heat, staying hydrated and avoiding prolonged sun exposure.
