Dion Lee’s 15-Year Legacy Ends Amid Financial Struggles
Dion Lee, a renowned Australian fashion brand celebrated by celebrities like Taylor Swift and Meghan Markle, has entered liquidation after 15 years of operation. The Australian arm of the brand, which has been a staple in high fashion, faced severe financial difficulties, owing $35 million to creditors.
The brand initially entered voluntary administration in May, with the dVT Group appointed to explore options for saving the company. Despite efforts to find a new investor or buyer, no acceptable offers were secured, leading to the decision to liquidate.

Liquidators Antony Resnick and Henry Kwok have been tasked with managing the process.
While Dion Lee’s Australian retail stores are expected to remain open until late September or early October, its online site may continue operating into November.
The brand’s stores in Australia and its global presence in over 40 exclusive retailers will be affected by this development.
Founded in Sydney in 2009, Dion Lee quickly gained international acclaim, presenting collections in London and New York and dressing A-list celebrities. The end of the brand marks a significant shift in the Australian fashion landscape.
