AFP Arrests Man Behind Criminal Encryption App

Sydney Man Charged for Creating “Ghost” App Used by Criminals

Australian Federal Police (AFP) arrested 32-year-old Jay Je Yoon Jung, accusing him of creating the encrypted messaging app “Ghost” designed for criminal use. 

Tuesday morning raids led to dozens of charges, including drug trafficking, conspiracy, and supporting a criminal organisation. The app allegedly enabled illegal activities.
